Welcome! My name is Fatima and I am the founder of Car Seat Parent and a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST).
After testing and installing dozens of car seats, both for my own children and other parents, I’ve gained valuable first-hand experience in determining the right car seat for different needs and ensuring proper and safe installation.
I created Car Seat Parent because I want to share what I know with other parents who might be feeling just as lost as I did when I was starting out.
I also get help from other experts when I need it, so you can be sure that the information on this site is accurate and up-to-date.
All the content on Car Seat Parent is written or overseen by me or other CPSTs.
What is a CPST? A Child Passenger Safety Technician is somebody who has been certified by a nationally recognized organization to teach parents about car seat safety. In other words, they know their stuff!
